These are not bait fish, American Shad are a customer favorite. The hard fighting 1 to 5 lb. mini Tarpon come into the Umpqua by the hundreds of thousands and are easy to catch with Fly or Spin and make a great combo trip with Smallmouth Bass. Not great to eat, but great crab bait. If you would like to keep Shad bring a cooler and we’ll fill it up.
All gear is provided except fly rods.
