Umpqua River Chinook

Spring Chinook (Umpqua Springer)Umpqua River Springers – WOW! you won’t find a finer specimen anywhere. The Umpqua grows them big and tasty. Our Springers average 25 pounds. There are 50 plus pounders caught every year and their table fair is second to none. We fish the heart of the famous Umpqua River “LOOP” out of our big North River sled with top and heaters if necessary. We will sit on anchor and wait with patience for them to come, and when they come we will get them. They are worth the wait.

Fall ChinookUmpqua River fall chinook fishing trips are another customer favorite. Lot’s of fish and limits are common. The Southern Oregon fall weather is warm and dry! We cover a lot of water on these trips, trolling herring, spinners and casting spinners & plugs. Hard fighting, dime bright Umpqua River Fall Chinook (also known as Kings) are what bring many people to the Oregon coast time and time again.
